Here at Twin Oak Acres, 2026 will be our 18th year of sweet potato production and the tenth year since our farm diversified from local sales of sweet potatoes to include local and internet sales of sweet potato plants. It is our goal to provide quality sweet potatoes to your family’s dinner table, whether you buy your sweet potatoes directly from us here in Nancy, KY, or if you buy our plants and enjoy watching them vine and grow, then harvest them in the fall from your own garden. In 2016 Twin Oak Acres became the first producer of Certified Sweet Potato Plants in the state of Kentucky. We worked closely with the University of Kentucky and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, helping develop the guidelines for certification for Kentucky sweet potato plant producers to ensure disease- and pest-free plants. Our certified nursery status is a source of pride for us; we feel it proves our dedication to provide our customers with the best sweet potato plants possible. We are a certified Kentucky Proud and Appalachia Proud member, as well as a member of the National Sweet Potato Council.
We’re located in beautiful Pulaski County, Kentucky, near Lake Cumberland. Our location makes us easily accessible for customers from central and eastern Kentucky as well as middle and eastern Tennessee.
